We are eager to bring on a Hospitality Ambassador to manage the customer experience from soup to nuts.  As one of our onsite 'hosts', you need to embody our brand and provide a true hospitality experience to our guests.  We're looking for a culture fit!

You would be based out of Washington DC and would work closely with the Chief Hotel Officer, Hospitality Ambassadors, and Fresh Team Members.  As a Hospitality Ambassador, you will ensure the efficient administration and management of all facets of the guest experience.  Responsibilities include check-ins, reservations, room assignments, key control, payment processing, resolution of guest issues, record keeping, and whatever else comes up as part of operations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the customer experience as an onsite host
  • Manage guest check-ins and reservations
  • Assign rooms and handle room issues
  • Process payments and resolve any late and disputed charges.
  • Process guest calls, texts, and requests.
  • Coordinate with the Fresh Team on room readiness for check-ins.
  • Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures) and identify any special requests
  • Complete finance reports in the accounting system.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without
  • Manage and mentor junior employees
  • Help to build a positive culture at WhyHotel

Education and Experience

At a minimum, a college graduate with a four-year degree; or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience. Additionally, hotel experience and a history of working for a growing organization would be valuable.
